The Poppy Rug grows out of Madelen’s painting practice, taking shape as a large-scale, sculptural and tactile landscape. Designed as a horizontal painting, it carries her visual language into the space. Varying pile heights create shifts in texture and depth, and add a subtle three-dimensional presence.
